Letter to Russell H. Chittenden from William Osler, 13, Norham Gardens, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England. Wrote him what he wrote to Hadley about the invitation to the Silliman Lectureship. Following Chittenden's advice, he suggests Hadley give a course on the New Medicine and its relation to the Profession and the Public, but do not feel that they would come under the provisions of the Foundation. Mentions to Chittenden that he would like to go to Yale, to see the work at the University and bring material for two or three lectures. Asks him to discuss the matter with Hadley. Would like to come in October because the International Tuberculosis Congress is postponed until April 23rd. He will attend to it. It would be in Rome. Civilities.
