Letter to Whitelaw Reid from William Osler, 13, Norham Gardens, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England. He had a talk with Ogden Mills in Newport about a hospital his wife and he saw in San Francisco. He sent him a memorandum about an hospital constructed on modern lines in connection with a university. He does not know Mills' intentions but says that from the advice from a medical friend on the coast, they need three or four hospitals "units" on modern German lines. Would like to talk the matter over with Mrs. Reid. Civilities. P.S. Delighted to see Mrs. Livingston so well.
