Fonds documents the friendship between Tooke and William Boyman Howell through the letters from William Boyman Howell, retired in England, to Frederick Thomas Tooke in Montreal, during the Second World War, from 1941 to 1947.

Fonds consists of pamphlet entitled, “What to Eat to be Healthy” (Toronto: Canadian Medical Association and Canadian Life Insurance Officers Association, 1937), authored by Tisdall. Fonds also includes: typed letter signed from J. P. Crozer Griffith to Tisdall, Feb. 10, 1923, concerning a case on which Tisdall had consulted Griffith; autographed letter signed from Mrs. J. B. Gregory and Eliza J. Gregory, Aug. 2, 1920, agreeing to lease rental property to Tisdall; and autographed receipt signed from Mrs. J. B. Gregory acknowledging receipt of Tisdall’s rental payments.

Fonds documents Frederick Augusutus Rees' activities as a physician in Bermuda. The fonds contains a ledger, an index to the ledger, notes and letters.

The fonds consists of Frederick Andermann’s drafts of professional presentations and articles; newspaper clippings; a copy of “Le Nouveau Samedi” (Vol. 83, no. 44, pp 24-25), featuring “La terrible maladie qui tue vos enfants,” an article on the work of Dr. Fred Andermann and Dr. Raymonde Lafontaine; "Creutzfeldt Jacob Award" presented to Dr. Andermann for excellence in neurological diagnosis, and three notebooks from medical school. It includes seven caricatures of Montreal Neurological Institute professors (1984-1987), drawn by the former student David Goldbloom and dedicated “To Fred” in July 1997; an undated colour photograph of Montreal Neurological Institute staff, and a greeting card from “Lucy” with two colour photographs of Fred and Eva Andermann (Sept. 14, 1990). It also includes copies of the following books: “La névrite hypertrophique, Étude d'ensemble” (1927) by Dr. Jean Saucier, and "Des quatre sens du toucher et en particulier de la musculation ou sens musculaire" (1874) by Paul Dubuisson.

The fonds consists of Eva Deutsch's five grade-school writing exercise books (1948-1950); various Hebrew school notebooks; the Principal's Message booklet, 1955/1956, from St. John High School; clippings of various wedding announcements; parasitology notes; her St. John Ambulance Association First Aid to the Injured Certification (1956); 1961/1962 Israel Art Calendar, and illustrated notes from medical school. It also includes copies of the following six books: "Reflexe conditionate şi necondiţionate după lezarea receptorilor cutanaţi şi viscerali" (1955) by I. Rosner; "The meningococcus" (1929) by E. G. D. Murray; "Experimental toxic approach to mental diseases" (1933) by A. Ferraro, M. D. and J. E. Kilman, M. D., "Epilepsia" (1957) by academician Arthur Kreindler, Vlad Voiculescu and Eugen Crighel; "Epilepsy and movement disorders" (2002), and "Magnetic resonance scanning and epilepsy" (1994).

Fonds documents Dr. F.C. MacIntosh's teaching and research activities at McGill. The fonds contains correspondence, newspaper clippings, reprints of publications, photographs, documents related to the International Union for Physiological Sciences, lectures, and student reports. The fonds also contains a dossier on Professor George Ralph Mines (1886-1914) assembled by Dr. MacIntosh from 1982-1986. The dossier includes publications, photographs, obituaries, and autopsy information of G.R. Mines, as well as correspondence regarding his death and a copy of "The short brilliant career and strange death of G.R. Mines," written by MacIntosh in 1985.

Fonds consists of letters and accompanying reports from John J. Robson, Superintendent of the Royal Victoria Hospital, concerning staffing in the hospital and changes to bylaws. Also included is a letter from Dr. R. P. Boucher of Peterborough, ON, to Buller introducing Boucher’s friend Dr. Halliday.

The fonds illustrates Dr. McNaughton’s work as a neurosurgeon and consists of correspondence, letters, articles, newspaper clippings, obituaries, photographs, slides, research material and notes, course material, annual reports and drafts of his work. The fonds is divided into three (3) series.

Fonds shows, partially, Francis John Shepherd's activities as a medical student, an author and a dean. It contains his manuscript student notebook on Materia Medica, an admission card to the University Lying-In Hospital and correspondence with among others John George Adami who writes about his leave at Chicago and Harvey Cushing about Sir William Osler.
