With a capacity of 7000 spectators, it was utilized for both official ceremonies and entertainment events. The timber walkways linked two reception halls. It consisted of a paritally caged-in exhibition area above and office/workshop areas below. Ramping curvatious design. Gas concrete on reinforcing steel. Situated at the west end of Parc Hélène de Champlain, the Expo Rose Garden boasts 10,000 plants featuring hundreds of rose varieties. Nurseries from 15 countries donated species. Also displayed are paintings of thirteen varieties in the garden and a large sun dial with the Expo symbol on its face. Rectangular plan. (5 acres)
