Records consist of correspondence, a code of ethics, a menu and program from a banquet, correspondence, financial information, and a list of members. The correspondence is primarily expressing concern about Quebec's 1949 Bill 200 (the proposed change in definition of a professional engineer, which allowed non-architects to design buildings and infrastructure). The series also includes documents from the Quebec Association of Architects, the Engineering Institute of Canada, the Professional Engineers of Quebec, and the Association of Professional Engineers of the Province of Manitoba.
